Mrs. Lucy. Longman.
Daughter of George and Mary Nicholls.
Lucy was born in `Shortwood` in 1881.
She was at one time a Cigar Maker.
She married William Longman (Date to follow).
Lucy and William lived at `Rose Cottage` Sibland
given by Lucy`s father who was a Railway Guard at Thornbury - and later
killed in a Railway accident at Thornbury.
`Rose Cottage` was originally a Small Holding where a small number
of farm animals were kept, along with an Orchard used for Cider Making.
