| Residents and Friends of Hazel Cresent, Thornbury, known as the HazelNuts, | |||||||||
| gathered for their Annual Charity Social and Skittles evening on Saturday 6th | |||||||||
| January,2007, at the Black Horse Inn. | |||||||||
| The evening was attended by 45 people, all of whom tested their brains on the | |||||||||
| quizzes and their skills on the skittle alley, giving generously to Cancer Research | |||||||||
| UK, by bidding for gifts which had been donated by the residents and friends | |||||||||
| Included in this were donations and gifts given by those unable to attend. | |||||||||
| The total raised on the evening was £302.00 bringing the total raised to date | |||||||||
| to £2,032.00. | |||||||||
| The evening is a mixture of friendship and goodwill and although this was the 10th | |||||||||
|
year, it was again a very successful and enjoyable evening.
