ROCK STREET GARDENS
Situated in Rock Street and adjacent to the Police Station these gardens offer a quiet place to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of the town shaded by a ring of Cherry Trees. The Town Council jointly maintains the gardens with input from Thornbury in Bloom, which has planted two beds featuring some old farm machinery to highlight the Towns historic connection with the Farming Community. There is also a bed which is planted by young people, in 2008 by a group of Brownies and in 2009 by Beaver Scouts. The gardens are freely open 24 hours a day for everyone’s use.
